US tight oil production has materially underperformed the price recovery and that’s worrying for the period after OPEC+ has completed its scheduled COVID-era cut easing
I am here because of the great paranoid green chicken. As someone new to markets, I wanted to ask, what books would you recommend for someone interested in fully understanding your work? Also, why don't you have 5000 subs yet? (I am sure you will get there).
Maybe the problem isn't lack of investment - it could be we're running out of good locations to drill. That oil comes with millions of barrels of water, too. So, what if peak oil (at a price the economy can afford) is real this time?
But, what if the issue isn't investment, but a lack of good drilling locations? A different problem entirely with big ramifications for the transition discussion.
Great piece

This is also the reason why I am here. And I'm damn glad I'm here. Just now starting to comprehend the smoke screen that is DUCs at the moment.

What about the technological improvement you mentioned on Odd Lots the other day?
Good stuff. Thanks.
