Shout out to you for your excellent interview on the Grant Williams Doomberg podcast . Everyone should give it a listen. What is your opinion of Charlie Mungers simple view that we should leave our hydrocarbons in the ground for a later day ? And your opinion on the Montney condensate producers ?

Thank you for this. It was a pleasure to read, and the identification of key variables is very helpful. In particular, I wonder - what do the agencies know about US production ramp-up that I don't?

The 1 MMbpd forecast by the EIA is fairly close to the 800-900 kbpd predicted by COP's CEO on its last conference call: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4484126-conocophillips-cop-ceo-ryan-lance-on-q4-2021-results-earning-call-transcript

Great read and very useful as a trader! It reminds me of how much I enjoy fundamental analysis as the study of WHY markets move and how it should be used to complement technical analysis or the study of HOW markets move. For what it's worth, my system tells me that the energy complex (energy commodities/energy equities) does not yet know which way to go.

I suppose you follow @tankertrackers? As I read them, their view is that Iran is selling just fine at the moment. There may not be much more to come out - just a reappearance from behind the cloak.

US shale producers got hit pretty hard by Covid, are they likely to step out again if there is any possibility Iran sanctions are to get lifted? Which could be a real possibility given Biden’s declining popularity and ever increasing gas prices.

Rory, just curious - why is there no "subscribe" button for your substack? Thanks, Rick

Thank you. Trying to figure the demand for crude tanker ton-miles in the next 6 months. These are relevant variables .
